The competition forms part of the centre and the city’s smart city focus, with the city looking to host the first UK Smart City Experience Centre which can currently be found internationally in New York, Singapore, Cairo, and Seoul.
Members of the public attended this ground-breaking free event, where visitors experienced the latest in technology, AI and viewed the robots in action.
The event was covered by national media including the BBC’s One Show, Look East, Daily Telegraph, BBC Three Counties Radio and Heart Radio station reaching over 75 million people combined.
