White Ribbon UK is the leading charity in England and Wales engaging men and boys to prevent men’s violence against women and girls. This White Ribbon Day they are asking men to use their voices and speak up in their everyday lives against misogyny to stop a culture that normalises sexism and can lead to violence against women and girls.
The charity has partnered with award-winning photographer, Claudia Janke, to highlight 16 men - White Ribbon Ambassadors - who have committed to speaking up to help build a world where everyone is safe, equal, and respected. The portraits were taken using a traditional instant box camera.
The exhibition will be on display during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence from 25 November to 10 December.
